The Council of the Public Broadcaster (formerly the Council of the Public Broadcasting Company) is the body responsible for the management and supervision of the companies "Public Television Company of Armenia" and "Public Radio Company of Armenia:

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On Audiovisual Media", the Council consists of seven members: the Chairman of the Council and six members of the Council, who are appointed by the Prime Minister on a competitive basis for a period of six years. The Council organizes its activities through the apparatus, which is the state institution "Apparatus of the Council of the Public Broadcaster".
